About
Dr. Tanja Pavleska is a researcher at the Laboratory for Open Systems and Networks, Jožef Stefan Institute. She obtained her PhD from the JSI Postgraduate School in the area of computational trust and reputation systems, with emphasis on user behaviour.
Her interests include cybersecurity for AI and AI for cybersecurity, trustworthy and explainable AI, critical infrastructure security, industrial automation and digital twins, threat intelligence and digital forensics, architecture design, and digital policies and regulatory frameworks. She has participated in many international projects, coordinating and researching the latest technological advancements.

Research programme: Future internet technologies: concepts, architectures, services and socio-economic issues. Training topic: Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity for Artificial Intelligence, covering trustworthy and explainable AI for security, human–AI collaboration in security operations, AI-driven threat detection and incident response, security and robustness of AI systems, cybersecurity for critical infrastructures, and regulatory and ethical compliance (GDPR, NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act, EU AI Act).
